so i've been thinking alot about my blog that was posted last night. and i just couldn't help but wonder, what can we count on these days? is it just me or does it seem like the older you get the more isolated and independent you are required to be.

no one gives a fuck about you after your youth. the world has served its purpose of getting you on your feet, and no longer owes you anything. what type of shit is that?

you really can't depend on friends, because like love, friends come and go. as much as you want... no NEED to hold on to something you're familiar with, you know you in your heart that things just can't and won't stay the same.

and the real shit that fucking SUCKS BALLS is that you can't even call your clan the ones you will rely on. your family, just like your friends, are sometimes blinded by the seven deadly sins, greed, gluttony, wrath, lust, sloth, pride and envy. family too will go months on end without speaking to one another.

you grow up and learn that your heroes and those that you idolized and looked up to aren't at all who they seem. its amazing how people change when you look at them up close.

i'm not trying to down anyone but its a cold world and money can't keep you warm.

and even at that... how long do the rich remain wealthy, and how many of us are destined for that life. realistically, more of us are destined to a life of destitute.

so where do we go from here? what do we do today? tomorrow is not guaranteed, and like many other things, nothing lasts forever.

.who can you trust?.

I think that in life, we're often asking this question when things go wrong and we in turn cannot be self reliant. We expect others to pick up the slack where we cannot and reflect on two things:

• Were my own expectations for this person to high? or
• 
  
• Why weren't they there when I felt as though I needed them?

I've found the answer to both questions and yes I am oooober optimistic. Perhaps its that our expectations for ourselves are too low. We need to understand that with life comes disappointments, and that the way we deal with them are whats important. Why spend time pointing the finger at other people for what actually is what we feel?! Its NOT THEiR fault that you are reacting to the situation the way you are.

And as for the second question... we stand alone! A close person to me once said "we were born alone and we'll die alone". I don't trust that person. But I appreciate the lesson that they taught me. In the end, we stand alone!

Let's play with a scenario fuckers... lets say your so called new best friend in college told the whole class about every single sexual encounter that you've had in your matriculation. Its not uncommon to have a blabby friend spill your juice.

How do you deal? Typically, upon discovery you'd be pissed, and overreact. If you were to look at my REESIAN philosophy you would look at yourself. Question why you shared such intimate details with the twit. Then, resolve to never be so foolish, and share such unneccessary details. Then, rather than to eliminate your BFF from your life, you'd realize that a title on your relationship doesn't make the person worthy of everything in your life, and continue to be "friends" without stipulations nor expectations.

We live, We learn, and We love, but where in the life handbook does it say we must trust. I just don't think that's neccessary.

Personally, I don't trust none of y'all hoes.

Apparently the answer to that question is that they attack other reality celebs, and other B-list celebs. Momma always said the limelight don't shine for long... so when the fame starts to dwindle then some drama you must sprinkle!

PUHLEASE! So my roommate went to grade school and middle school with Brittany Marshall aka Hot Wings, until she moved to Waldorf, MD and she says that none of this is the girl she knew. But some people will do anything for some attention. Said too, she seemed smart and beautiful on Real Chance of Love. But far be it from a game show hoe to be a face of a non profit org, volunteering, or hosting respectable events promoting positivity and growth.

Mash me up and love me down

I've heard a story that will have you sick to your stomach at the Thanksgiving table this year.

I entitle this mash me up and love me down in honor of my first freaked out Friday.

So a friend of mine, that I know very closely had been dating the same guy for almost three years; lets call her A. Without any of us even noticing it, time had flown by in their relationship, arguments were had, weight was gained, and eventually the romance was gone.

However, the void in their love life in the bedroom was nothinga little soul food couldn't fix, literally. No matter how much her and her boy toy bickered it seemed like the better their sex life had gotten. And I should know, I was A's roommate!

While I was curious what they did to keep the love alive and the bed room hot and interesting, I never thought to ask until one of our mutual friends gave me the dish! She had said that A had admitted to trying anything to keep things up with her dude, and proudly declared that that meant getting nasty!

Who knew that getting nasty would actually mean getting dirty! A and her man friend were bringing dinner dishes into their wild love making and indeed I need no further details. While our friend had heard some wild details about A's love life, I still don't know how much truth there is to this, and had to say that I admire A and her efforts. After all, they said food is the way to a man's heart.

I suppose just talking dirty just simply doesn't work anymore. "Mash me up and love me down"

The Sex in the City 2 Movie was definately a lack luster sequel as expected. As a true SITC fan, I was disappointed that the movie lacked drama, tears, and honestly a REAL story line. Honestly, the trip to India was random and unbelieveable. How could Samantha possibly be making a PR business trip and be alloted to bring her friends to a foreign country but never is seen doing any business? And what exactly were her and Miranda's purpose in this film? They did damn near nothing for the storyline.

However, the fashion was amazing, the wedding was over the top, and the girls are still gorgeous. This is a movie that only a true SITC STAN or even a gay man could appreciate. It certainly did not do the first film in. I give it 3 stars! Go see it!

The Game on DVD

Ok so I finally broke down and quit watching my favorite all time television show on these uber ustreaming ass websites and bought season one on DVD. and for those fans that commented on my first blog about it, it is def worth the money.

What many people don't know is that the DVD comes with special feature commentary as well as the pilot episode that they originally aired as a Girlfriends spin off episode (can not be found any where on the world wide web!) So def. support a show that held it down for the african american actors/actresses/entertainers in the industry without promoting shameless buffonnery!

The first season alone had guest appearances from the likes of: Drew Sidora, Eva Pigford, Vivica Fox, Chammilionnaire, Travis Johnson, Rick Jones, Willie McGinest, Lisa Leslie and many more!
